Geez what a game this week !!!!

No more triple headers for the Eagles until the finals.

Huge game that has huge implications on our top 3 and double chance possibilities. A win and we're still alive, lose and we are destined for the Elimination Final.

We need everybody who can get there to get right behind the boys.
In other words be vocal with your support.
Cheer Squad showed the way last week with a drum !!!
We need more people at the ground we are heading towards the finals.
We need to roar when they enter the ground!!
We need to roar when they kick a goal
We need to roar when they tackle get a holding the ball
Come on people get behind the boys!!!!!!!!

I'll be there Mick but all this roaring, I'm not sure about the old throat.
I've been over dosing on Strepsils since Alberton & you know the three who caused that.
If the same happens this week, which it surely will, I'll have to leave roaring for the boys to you

According to The official AFL website Banner has been omitted from the Power side and is not listed as an emergency.He is not listed on the Eagles websites league or reserves teams.Surely given this mans form at AFL level and the conditions forecast for Saturday he should get a league game this week.Maybe a small for a tall (Banner in Day out)?.What do other people think ?

Thats So True, When he has playing in the eagles first team, he always plays a shit game. But when he is in for the power he shines

40 minutes to game time - should be a crackerkack game. Unfortunately I can't be there today but I will be tuning in to Life Fm for the game. C'mon Eagles - win this and we are still a chance at top 3.

Results as we thought Eagles not up to the standard of the top 3 teams just yet.

Very disappinted today.Sadly our club has relied too much on our AFL listed players over the last few years,this year being no different.Against the best sides without them we do'nt cut it.

The less said about today's game the better, certainly different opposition from last week.
Bit concerned with next week. Talking to Treebs he said he should be OK, wanted to play today but physio said another week. According to Rima he will be OK, only a corkie.
Good to see Paul Lindsay, now a very proud father, there today & back at the club for after match presentation. Paul & his wife & daughter over from WA for a week to catch up with friends.
It was also good to see a group of Glenelg boys back at the club catching up with Aaron Day, Scott Lewis, Scott Welsh & of course - Coach Godden.
Even though they beat us it was good to see as they would have had commitments back at the Bay.
