you would think that senior players like treeby and rowntree would be on there last chances if not gone, the problem is finding people to replace them
i could see poole coming in as he might not be as good as the above but gives his all, powell will come back in you would think.
fairclough, batley and sutcliff seem to be out of form. you could bring grocke in be we are already too tall so i cant see that happening. Hill i would think is gone. Von berto Ain't up to it. Corbett's a clanger king.
Hall out for lane. as lane has as much chance of getting a kick that ain't smothered as hall
so
out
treeby
hall
in
Poole
Powell
On edge
raymond
Rowntree
Rayner
Maybe
Lane
Geddes
longshot
C. Grokce
saying that i'm proberly completely wrong

Re: Rnd 16 - 17/07/2011 Eagles v Norwood Unleash Solar Oval @ Woodville
This Sunday (July 17), the Woodville-West Torrens Football Club will be holding our annual Eagles Community Day as we host Norwood at Unleash Solar Oval @ Woodville.
All Eagles members are encouraged to come to the game a little earlier to check out the community based activities
A record thirteen diverse groups will participate in the event with interactive displays promoting and celebrating their role in the local community.
Kids are further invited to participate in the “Community Treasure Hunt” which includes a tresure map of tasks to complete, free face painting and at the end of their journey, free Eagles "treasure".
It promises to be an action packed afternoon of SANFL football with Unleash Solar Oval @ Woodville hosting the undisputed match or the round as the 3rd ranked Eagles host the 2nd placed Redlegs.
Last year’s inaugural Eagles Community Day proved a great success with the City of Charles Sturt recognizing the event as the COMMUNITY EVENT OF THE YEAR at it’s 2011 Australia Day awards.
Participating Community Groups with a Display in 2011 include:
- Adelaide Sea Dragons (Dragon Boat Racing)
- Centacare
- City Of Charles Sturt (OPAL program)

- Girl Guides (North West Metro District)
- Greyhound Adoption Program
- Meals on Wheels (Woodville)
- The Parks Sports Fitness & Aquatics

Eagles end Norwood's run
* Reece Homfray
* From: The Advertiser
WOODVILLE-West Torrens remains a premiership threat after ending Norwood's eight-game winning streak with a 28-point triumph today.
If the Redlegs were due for a bad day against the team they last lost to, they got it at Woodville.
Such was Norwood's skill errors the Redlegs were virtually begging for an eight-goal loss but the Eagles didn't quite oblige in the final term.
Still, coach Michael Godden's men responded to a lacklustre past month which saw them win just one of five matches.
''That anger and the hunger builds over time and sooner or later you're going to put out a performance that's better,'' Godden said.
''I thought we attacked it pretty hard and played as a team.
''But for us now it's about consistency, we can't put a performance like that our there then go to Richmond next week and go back to where we were.''
Bassett refused to conceded his team was ''due'' for a loss but said its skill level was a long way from league standard.
''I don't like 'due an off day', you keep playing the best footy you can and shouldn't need losses to start playing well again,'' he said.
''I don't know how to describe our skill level - it wasn't good, we had 70 ineffective kicks and our discipline was poor as well.''
Norwood paid Eagles captain Mark McKenzie the ultimate compliment by sending its key play-maker Nathan Eagleton to him across half forward. Eagleton had the better of the contest early but the pair broke even by the final siren.
