A much harder game this one .Fingers crossed Adam Grocke is back .IMHO leave Staple up on the Full Forward line.

Eagles sure to lose Petrenko and Symmons for match against Central. Grocke will definitely be an in and Geddes must be close to promotion as he gradually gains match fitness. Also, the Eagles could get a couple of AFL demotions as Knights and Broadbent continue to struggle.

Vince and Symmo Wimpy?

Seeing as you have mentioned Pup...what would have possesed the Crows to pick him based on his form the previous week then play him as the sub and bring him on in the 3rd qtr....(only after having it forced on them)...would have been better off having another run with us.

Centrals may get a couple back from the crows this week...should be interesting.

Columbo - Thanks for the correction. Could not believe Petrenko was the sub. Surely someone in career best form should have been given the chance to show what he can do at an early stage of the game. What chance did Petrenko have to excel - the Crows were getting murdered (no pun intended) when he came on..............I absolutely hate the sub rule. If both Central and the Eagles get AFL players back from the AFL, the Crows will strugle to field a team!!!!

One of those games today that we were never really out of but lacked a bit of polish at critical times and Centrals punished us just about every time.

Made the trek out north believing that if we had our minds on the job we could make a close game of it - wrong............
Thank God Centrals didn't know where the goals were in the first quarter, the game could have been over after 30 minutes. I know we didn't give up but 26 shots to 17, not good boys.
I did however have two highlights for the day & it wasn't on the oval.
Firstly the Centrals Ladies Auxiliary table, great banana muffins & fruit cake,
secondly the toilets - yes the toilets. Well done Centrals & I didn't need to walk almost back to Woodville to find them.
