Cica and Round 16 2000

Going through the Eagles players that played with the Crows in 2000, I came across an interesting scenario. I had the great man down as playing in this particular match, from compiling these stats tallies:



The trouble is, he also played for Adelaide the following day. He did not play in the match above, because he was pulled out of the selected side to replace Darren Jarman who acquired a calf injury during Friday training.

So, this leaves me with the following questions:
-Who actually took his place in the Eagles side for this match?
-The Football Budget advances his games tally by one the following week. Does this mean his official tally is one more than it should be?
-What does the 2000 Annual Report say regarding his game tally? (It should say 19 upon this discovery, and 44 in total)

I hope to clear this up if he does surpass Colville as the games record holder for the club. It would be nice to celebrate the milestone on the correct match!

Check with the club as they would know who played each game.

Would more than likely have the budget for this game somewhere in a folder, will try and track it down. What round was it Spelly?

No stats in 4th quarter so may have been pulled at 3 quarter time or during 3rd quarter to play for Crows the next day.

I had that thought, too, but those are decidedly lean stats for him! Which is why I thought it may have been someone else still.

I believe that if that game was played at Glenelg, Cicca did play for 3/4's was taken off and flown to Melbourne to play for the Crows the following day/

Yeah, that was the match then. I thought if ever that was the case I would have found it in either match report, but did not. Thanks for your help!
