Eagles U16s v North u16s @ Prospect Wednesday 7/4/10

Eagles to play North in the under16s at Prospect this Wednesday from 2.10 pm. If anyone has time off this Wednesday please come along and support the juniors and hopefully see an Eagles win.

I dropped in at Prossie today to watch the boys. Unfortunately, it was not their day. The ‘football gods’ and the umpires were against them. The eagles were very good in patches, but at other times, their skill level let them down. For instance, a solid passage of play saw the boys move the ball very effectively from coast to coast and finish off with an awesome goal. However dropping marks – kicking across goal – kicking the ball out-on-the full at a kick-in = all cost goals. We had some fine individual performances but I don’t know the names of the boys. Numbers- 1. 42 13 all played consistently.
