Eagles looking forward

Going through the AFL lists the Eagles currently have 18 former players on lists.
With the possible reduction in AFL lists for 2021 I was looking at which ex-Eagles might be delisted and therefore might come back to the Eagles.

Possible delistings:

Cam Sutcliffe (Power job abolished and one of last added to list)
Andrew McPherson (just hasn't been able to get on the field)
Riley Knight (hasn't cemented his spot)
Mat Frederick}
Martin Frederick} (a late pick and a NGA, no proven form)
Josh Morris (a very late draft pick)
Josh Burgoyne (F/S has played very little football over last 20 months)

If any of these got delisted I feel only Sutcliffe, Knight and possibly McPherson would currently make the Eagles best 22.

Would delisted players come back and play for the Eagles? There would be little to attract them with I feel a significant cut in the salary cap likely. Any thoughts?

Looks like none of the AFL listed players will be allowed to play in lower league competitions. Seems strange that 20 odd players may not get a chance to play this year,.

Seems it will be a 14 round season would we pick up any of those players mentioned by Wimpy

There will be no AFL players in the SANFL.
