Finals

Seems of late i get on this forum in a negative frame of mind.
What I saw today has done nothing to change that. Our game is built on
defence and that is fine. However, when our opponents are doubling
our scoring shots and we cannot generate a score ourselves the result is
inevitable. I would hate to be an Eagles forward when we continue to butcher
forward entries then not have the gumption to crumb and lock the ball in
the area. To give a side a big start like that was inexcusable.Unless
something changes drastically over this next week we will not bother
Sturt in the slightest and the power b's will likely lift the cup

I'm a bit like you Gazz perhaps the quote doing the same thing and expecting a different out come is insanity at its best would be a good starting point.
First half of the year total synergy all players on the same page , second half no synergy Why ?
Simple answer midfield , to win means centre synergy ie: Borholm, Boyd ,Pup and Lewis uncanny how loosing one of these changes not only the midfield synergy but the whole team looks of centre
Sort of trying to drive a Ferrari with out a driver, back half the driving wheels powerful, front half the steering ie goal scorers and midfield no one steering put the correct driver in the seat and it all works SYNERGY who's missing ? Early season 9 out of ten games Borholm in ruck the driver , second half 4 wins 5 loses West in the ruck the driver one has full licence one is a basket baller and will only ever be a basket baller not a driver. The COACH needs to take a good look at the driving synergy of the midfield and stop dicking around with basket ballers and player life long hard working footballers. Now, i understand the money thing if West can get drafted but not at the expense of loosing finals so Coach if your reading this then lets put the football player back in get back the synergy of the side and get back to winning because the crap that been dished up so far doesn't cut it. THE BUCK STOPS WITH THE COACHING STAFF the players feed of great synergy not MONEY.

Honestly all egos aside (yeah all footy clubs are full of those buggers and we're no different) Team success is surely all that matters. A team with good cohesion will win it you'll see. I do sense some change lately so let's hope it's us!!!!

Last year we lost the GF due to poor kicking in the GF
We did the same thing against Sturt we have done this year .
Sunday we must change whatever we are doing

Strategical I guess
Eagles need to lift
Port pulled our shorts down
Time we did this to Sturt
Then go back and beat Port
