Went down to the Entertainment Centre today for the open day today to show off the refurbishment, looks impressive. The new theatre at the front reminds me a bit of the new pavillions at the showgrounds, should be good for those acts that cant fill the arena. Nice new highback seats in the arena along with new carpet and a bit of paint and the place looks pretty decent. The entrance of Port Road looks very modern now and the scrolling display (like the new advertising signs at Footy Pk) with the upcomming events is very impressive...sure it will look good at night. Caught one of the new trams along the extension to get down there, was a very smooth ride, should make it alot easier for folks to get down to the Ent Cent and to Hindmarsh Stadium, heard one of the guys handing out timetables mention that the line will be open from 22nd of March....interesting to note a familar face on the front of the new timetable too!

I would be happy if the tracks go all the way to Woodville so when we play Glenelg I don't have to get of the bus and get onto the tram.
