No Cica, No Powell, welcome to the future.
I guess Macca can pinch hit in the middle if needed.

Backlines look solid, and like big Redden up front.
Hoping for another improved effort.

If he plays this could be a good starting point for Poole .

Little bugger looks a lot like Cica 15 years ago. Hope this kid can handle the the pace. I like the look of him. Reckon he has a lot to offer, even tho he is a little shorty.

Wouldn't have thought Callinan has caused us any headaches in GF's! But I take your point that small players can impact a game of footy.

Good game by Toumpas today, shame he has to go to the labrats competition again when the rapists already have got a good look at him both in that competition and our league side.

Whatever it costs, top priority for next year is a 196 cm forward ruckman for 2013. Hope we're looking now.
There's nothing coming up through the Seconds/U18s that fits the bill. Von Bertouch slowly developing but not big enough, Huppatz big enough but raw and will be drafted anyway,
Someone of the ilk of Alleway from North, Willetts from West, Kirkby from Glenelg, Cockshell from Port even young Brady Dawes from Norwood. Most teams have them, these mobile types who can hold down a ruck position equally CHF, FF or CHB.
We can't continue to expect success when we rarely kick 14 goals/game over the past 2-3 years. Also with Parry looking more likely as though this is his last year and Redden being tied to Power, we need to be preparing to cover them with this type of player plus a Specialised ruckman.

Gee, hasn't Eddy been another AFL disapoointment? Not his fault, just poor judgment by us. West Torrens supporters will remember Rod Gault who was recruited on the basis that he played in a GF/Premiership Carlton team the year before and was a disaster.
On a happier note, young Sumner has lost a huge amount of weight from pre-season and is showing improving form, Kane has been a good buy with more potential than his older brother.

I'd challenge you on Eddy only when sitting in the stand you can see his work in the packs . Having said that his ball disposal isnt the best at times for a 100 games afl player. Think I'm having a each way bet there Razz
Rod gault had two goes at torrens showing my age lol

And another thing, it's a big surprise that no player got cited by the match review panel - for whatever they could come up with. For example, they could have cited Grieger for a bone crunching tackle as rough conduct! I guess it wasn't a "sling tackle" nor did it involve touching a hair on the head.

I'm with you on this one Micky, reckon he is starting to come good, had an interrupted start to the season with the freak injury that put him in hospital, he just started finding his feet and now we get 2 weeks off. You don't play in an AFL Grand Final if you're a dud, could play a big part in the second half of the season.
