Type of players Eagles should recruit

Ok guys and girls .I have been asked to start a topic on what type of players .The fans think the WWTFC should recruit .
Personally goal scoring midfielders IMHO we need 1 or more of those .
Small forwards once we had so many now we dont ahve enough

I'd like another tough midfielder, Cica and Powell can't go on forever.
Another tall fwd , hope Fitzgerald is fit and can take that role.

Also maybe a quick player who can break the lines. Maybe Sumner or Bately could be that player.

How many "imports" do we have on our books???
I can't think of any, I maybe wrong.

I am pleased with the inclusions of Shirley midfielder, Sumner wingman half forward and Harding half forward type I think we have Treeby and Rimmmo covered and have already improved as a squad.

I'd like to see another forward now but wouldn't knock back more midfielders.

Be interesting to see if those two lads from the apy lands come out to preseason training

Chris Kane should add to the midfield as well

In 2007 after winning the premiership I believe we dropped the ball,we rested on our laurels and our recruiting was ordinary.
Now is the time to put the pedal to metal so to speak.
We must prepare for the future if we are to remain number 1.
We are more than likely to lose Cicollella,Jarrad,Toumpas and definately McKenzie at the end of next year,so I would be looking at another quality midfielder this and next year (2013 ) and a quality defender for 2013 (even allowing for the recruitment of Shirley,Sumner and the improvement of promising of midfielders Sutcliffe,Joyce,Schwarz,Batley etc.
Its now our time to dominate the SANFL if we get it right!
