Can we continue this record on Sunday?
It's the consecutive finals series with at least one win in them. By club you will see:
With at least one win:
16 - Eagles 1992-
12 - Central 2000-
9 - Norwood 1920-1930
9 - West 1915-1948
8 - Port 1974-1981; 1992-1999
7 - Glenelg 1969-1977; 1981-1988
7 - North 1913-1927; 1983-1991
6 - Sturt 1965-1970; 1974-1980
4 - Torrens 1939-1949
2 - South 1903-1904; 1937-1938; 1940-1964; 1977-1979; 2006-
1 - Woodville 1986
Without a win:
9 - Torrens 1955-1980
6 - Central 1979-1993
5 - Norwood 1935-1940
4 - Port 1925-1928
4 - Sturt 1911-1914
3 - Glenelg 1993-1999; 2009-
3 - North 1907-1911
3 - South 1981-1984
2 - West 1963-1968; 1995-1996; 2001-2002
1 - Eagles 1991
1 - Woodville 1979; 1987
So the above record is due to the fact that we have never gone out in straight sets since 1991; and the Elimination Final record is 4-0. I was surprised to see that no-one has got close to this record.

Re: Can we continue this record on Sunday?
So that run continues. Now of course next week we need to break the consecutive finals losses against Norwood. After the '93 Grand Final, we have lost the 1996 1st Semi, 1999 Preliminary, 2002 1st Semi, 2010 Preliminary and last week.

With Norwood's injurys yesterday; I reckon if the Eagles play as well for the entire game as they did from about the 10 minute mark of the 3rd quarter yesterday, then they're a good chance of winning their way through to the Grand Final.
