Re: Injury List
Cica may not be as bad as first thought, hopefully just soreness.
Will check progress at training Wednesday night.
Paddy had op end of last year & was told he could start full training this month. Has been running laps & ran boundary during internal trial on Feb 20th.

Re: Injury List
Update of injury list from tonight's training:-
We now train in three different coloured guernseys which makes it easy to establish the injury situation of the players.
Gold - Fully fit
Blue - Injured
White - Can do all training but cannot be tackled.
BLUE:
James Stewart
Mark McKenzie
Craig Parry
Scott Welsh
Seb Guilhaus (sore ankle from last Saturday)
WHITE:
James Rimington
Tom Corbett ( Both have general soreness from Saturdays game)
It was great to at last see Paddy Guiffreda in a gold guernsey after all this time. Hopefully he can stay fit.
The boys will train from 8.30am Saturday morning @ Woodville

Re: Injury List
I hope McKenzie and Welsh will be right by Round 2. Will make things tough if they aren't there.

Re: Injury List
Slight alteration to training guernseys as previously advised last week.
Gold remains the same but changes to blue & white.
Blue now becomes - can do full training but cannot be tackled
White now becomes - Injured.
From training tonight:-
Scott Welsh - white
Jarrad Wright - white
Tom Corbett - blue
Nathan Daniel - blue
Craig Parry - did not train - overseas
All other players trained in gold
Cannot confirm whether Mark McKenzie & James Stewart would be available. They trained in gold but later left main group.

Re: Injury List
Great news from training tonight.
Apart from Jarrad Wright - White
All players trained in gold.
Leigh Treeby did leave the track approx 1/2 hour before end of training & didn't return so hopefully all is OK.
Selection will be very interesting.

Re: Injury List
From training tonight:
Treebs having treatment on his corked hip but is expected to play.
Cica trained so should be OK
Only one very doubtful is Cheepy. I don't think we will see him at Noarlunga - on the field that is.
Good to see all other players training in Gold even Jarrad Wright & Craig Parry. Will be interesting to see if Parry lines up in the ressies.
Short training run on Sunday night. If I get there I will give you a report.

Re: Injury List
Sorry forgot to mention, we can remove Col D from the injury list, he managed to attend training tonight.
Whilst not fully recovered from his 'Virus' he felt he couldn't miss another week of training, not to mention the nibbles. What a trooper!!
We will be listening for his dulcet tones coming from the stats table on Monday afternoon.

You should put some of that juice in to the doughnut batter of yours at home.

Re: Injury List
Tonight's training was very light due to playing Monday.
Jay Cheep wasn't with the main group but was working with one of the trainers. They will see how the ankle comes up tomorrow morning, he seems fairly confident.
Todd Culley has a broken finger.
Paddy Guiffreda has driver.
Friday night will be the main training run.
I wont be there but MickyJ & Zest will be so they should be able to give us an update especially on Cheepy.

Re: Injury List
Well it was definitely footy weather at training tonight, cold & a bit damp.
A few senior players training in 'blue' but I'm assured they will be OK for Saturday.
Welsh, Cicca, Luke Powell.
Also Geddes & Goldsworthy
Staple, Corbett & Redden will be missing from the ressies this week after sustaining injuries last Sunday.
Paddy Guiffreda has started running again so hopefully he will be able to join the main bunch soon.

Re: Injury List
Would think he would still have a bit of a headache after that massive hit, interesting to read in the reserves report that Craig thought that his courage sparked the other boys after the incident.

Re: Injury List
News from training tonight.
The following players did not train:-
Seb Guilhaus - Flu
Stuart Hill - Flu
Ben Greiger - Injured Toe
Don't know how bad Seb & Hilly are.
Speaking to Ben he believes he will be OK but don't all players say that, time will tell.
Selection will be interesting especially if the two boys with the flu don't come up & we already have to replace Grockes & Salts although we may have lost Salts to the Power in any case.

Re: Injury List
Training tonight
Blue - Craig Parry) can do all training but can't
Blue - Cody Hicks) be tackled
We have lost Aaron Day with broken jaw, very surprised to see this in Advertiser this morning as didn't notice this at Glenelg last week.
Surprising to see Jimmy Stewart in Gold but the good news didn't last.
Just as I was leaving approx 7.10pm he came off & didn't come back.
Hopefully just precautionary but he didn't look very happy.
McKenzie & Symmons weren't out on the oval but were underneath.
The two players with flu from last week Guilhaus & Hill did all the work.

Re: Injury List
Training tonight:-
Apart from Day, Treeby & Stewart all OK
Spoke with Jimmy Stewart, he will be back after the bye.
Would have played against Port but with the bye straight after he will take the extra week. I believe the same will apply to Treebs, but not confirmed at this stage.
