History Books

just looking to make up a list of books about my footy club.

west torrens
woodville west torrens

just names and authors would be nice if anyone knows of such publications.

I do know the club historian John Storer did produce a history on West Torrens from 1945 - 1991. It was leant to me by a friend & as an old Torrens supporter I found it very interesting. It has all statistics & players from every game played by the club during the above period.
I'm sure the club will be able to point you in the right direction.

John Storer did three books, although I don't know if you could get them anymore as they were on a limited run. They were:

Woodville
West Torrens 1897-1944
West Torrens 1945-1990

There is supposed to be a book coming out this year about the history of all three entities titled "The Best of Both Worlds" by Peter Cornwall and David Burtenshaw.

'Best Of Both Worlds' costs $50 with a leather bound one cost $495 limited to 15.
