Appreciate the opportunity
Let us hope we fire up and show what we have produced for the bulk of this season. As a club it seems
we do not grasp/embrace the sense of occasion that finals footy affords. Apart from having a great season
thus far I do not think South will approach this final as we seem to historically. They are a club starved of
opportunity for many years and will relish the chance to play off-if we have the same mindset we will be
there the following week. Come on Eagles show something!

Eagles in finals - 26 wins, 30 losses. Unfortunately we ran into the Dogs at their very, very best for over a decade. Should have won more premierships. Three wins and eleven losses since 2011.
If we fail to win the GF, I'm sure Sheedy will be relentless next season in trying to get the ultimate prize. Have confidence in him.

Re: Appreciate the opportunity
Yes, we are sick and tired of our performance when it counts and it's finals where we are judged.
Step back a moment - at the start of the season are expectations were fairly limited.
Pre Covid we certainly didn't expect to make the finals. I didn't anyway.
Let's get behind the club, be angry, be demanding but let's balance our opinion and see what happens this weekend and hopefully the weekend after.

Re: Appreciate the opportunity
I fear that we HAD to win the first final to have the chance to reach the Grand Final. Now we are in great danger to experience another wasted season and that is something that we seem to be good at

relax. We are no worse off than last week. Still need to win 2 games to be premiers. Same as last week.

I am no expert .
But I hope the players believe in themselves firstly .
Secondly I hope they all play like this is their last ever game of footy and they will win .
