Congratulations to everyone involved with the Under 18's on their win today, resulting in a 7th Grand Final appearance in the last 8 seasons.

At least that's one area where we seem to excel. Then the AFL come along and pick the eyes out of it

Re: Under 18's
The U18's played some exhilarating football, wish the league could play a similar style. Unfortunately I don't think Hoile and Lachy McNeil will be available for the GF. Lachy Hoile appears to have a broken collar bone and McNeil appears to have significantly injured his knee in the reserves.
Apart from the obvious players that will get drafted I think the best we can hope for is to retain Coff and McNeil who both played in the state team at the national U18 championships.
I think there are a lot of U18 players that have plenty of talent but not quite at the level of being drafted. The coach should load the reserves next season with plenty of the ex U18s to find out what we have.
Plenty to like about, Michael Frederick, Zane Williams, Luke Barnett, Luke Beecken, Caleb Poulter, Ben Jungfer, and Lachy Jones.
