What are we doing the next few weeks
I just love this SANFL draw. We just came off a bye 3 weeks ago, now we go into another 2 weekends of no Eagles, come back for 2 matches then other bye. The good part is we play the next 4 games at home albeit over a long period. At least it gives us time for injuries to recover. The against is we lose momentum, coming off a Port win.

The SANFL should be ashamed of itself for this years draw. Of course it is only to appease the AFL and reduce the comp to second rate which it has very successfully achieved and cat tow to its AFL intruder teams

Its probably come at a good time for the likes of Wunks and Lewie and anyone else with a niggle to get over their injuries.
The draw is a certainly a bit odd this year but my understanding was that Norwood and South as the home teams (and I assume Port and Glenelg to a lesser extent) didn't want to miss out on playing their Easter Thursday and Good Friday games and other teams still wanted the season to conclude at the usual time so to keep the existing structure byes were the only way. As a side note I Wonder if Easter Monday could now become a "traditional" match for us against Sturt as it did draw a decent crowd this year.
As for this weekend get around the Under 16's at Footy Park today!
