Re: B&F tonight
Should be a good night, 27 tables were being setup last night. Probably the most open B&F for quite a while with injuries and suspensions.
Would expect Goldsworthy, Powell, Raymond and Lewis to be in the mix.

I think my money is on Goldy, but coaches see things different to us supporters.
See you there Columbo.

Re: B&F tonight
Congrats to Phil Raymond for winning the B&F, he had a very consistent year.
Well done also to Pat Giuffreda and Scott Lewis who tied for second, Luke Powell for 4th and the Jamie Tape medal for MVP and Craig Parry for 5th.
Hopefully Mighty Eagles or Eagle014 wrote the other award winners down!!

Sorry Columbo I took a pen but didn't have anything to write on as with previous years!!Columbo wrote:Congrats to Phil Raymond for winning the B&F, he had a very consistent year.

Great result for Phil.
Couldn't think of a more deserving winner of the Jamie Tape medal than our Powelly.

How do they vote? Good work to Raymond, he was consistent. A bit surprised a mainly loose at half back player would demand the best and fairest award though...Eagle014 wrote:I think my money is on Goldy, but coaches see things different to us supporters.

Scores from 1 to 10 then the totals are divided by number of games played to get an average score with a min 15 games played.

Re: B&F tonight
On total votes Phil ended up with 10 more than Lewie and Pat. From memory in the losses and a couple of wins there were no scores above 6/10 for any players.

Re: B&F tonight
And I guess they get votes based on them doing their job. Some jobs easier than others, hence the result.

Re: B&F tonight
Absolutely Aerie, every one's got a specific job in todays game. We as spectators usually have no idea what that job is and therefore can be unfairly over critical on our players when they are doing their best to carry out their set jobs. Well done to Phil Raymond obviously many jobs well done!
