Juniors 2007 question

Can any of you guys clear up a statistic that has been bothering me... it was stated via an Eagles newsletter after the Grand Final that WWT have particpated in 49 finals. However to my calculations i'm pretty sure it's 48 (with a 24-24 win/loss record).

If you can clarify that would be great.

While you're at it Spelly, can you clarify one more thing for me... where did the Eagles finish at the end of the Minor Round in 2003?

This was the year where the SANFL had a one off top four finals series and the Eagles played and beat Sturt in the Elimination Final then moved straight into the Preliminary Final as a result.

Just wondering if they finished third or fourth at the end of the minor round.

I think we ended Steven William's reign before Knights took over in 2004.
Cahill made a one year comeback in 2005 where the Eags lost to Port in the Qualifying Final but beat the in the Prelim...

Well at least I got Port correct

That Prelim was the day it rained and rained and rained some more at Adelaide Oval.
