The Eagles Nest Player of the Year 2010

I've always wanted to do this, and now with this site up and running, we can!

If nobody minds, I propose we do it via the 5-4-3-2-1 system. Every week, you put in your five best players in order of best, 2nd best etc, then I will tally them up.

So lets say we get the following votes from one week:

2,1,1,2,3 - Jay Cheep

3,1,2,3 - Leigh Treeby
3 - Ben Grieger
1 - Adam Grocke
4 - James Stewart
2 - Mitchell Banner

They would total:
McKenzie (42)
Cicolella (37)
Jarrad (23)
Welsh (12)
Treeby (9)
Cheep (9)
Rimington 8
Stewart (4)
Grieger (3)
Banner (2)
Grocke (1)

Therefore McKenzie gets 5 votes for the week, Cicolella 4, Jarrad 3, Welsh 2.
Leigh Treeby would receive the one vote because he got two 3rd preference votes as opposed to Cheeps' one. The number of highest preference votes would prevail in these cases.

Like the idea Spelly and hope to be involved. Hopefully people will try to be unbiased and rational. The more people we get taking part, the more likely a fair outcome wil be achieved.
