Player of the Year Award

Hopefully this will meet with your approval.

So that all can attend a presentation we give award on a Thursday night at the club linked to members draw.
This way all can attend rather than just those who are able to pay the admission to the club champion night.
Also means the award stands on its own as a 'people's award'.

Need a Name?
What do folk think of Eagles Nest People's Award or Eagles Nest Player of Year or maybe some other ideas.

Player to receive a trophy, name on a board, maybe some voucher or present?

To set up would need some donations from folk - set up would be most expensive if going for a permanent board.

Club would be collection point but any donations would be acknowledged by this site as is being run as an unofficial award - ie the members of this site are the controllers.

Donations can be left at the club office - place in envelope marked
EAGLES NEST PLAYER OF YEAR or hand deliver to me
I'll be at the club this Thursday night for raffles and members draw - this week up to $250.
or at game on Sunday
or at presentations on Sunday night.

Watch for email from club but believe next week our U18s on at 9:10am and league at 3:10pm at AAMI - Presentations thus likely to be around 7:30 Sunday night giving time for boys to get back after game .

We will go for an individual trophy to the player plus an award and any left over to an honour board.

Sounds good to me CD.I will get in contact with Admin to get the your tribe is calling replaced with the winners name and picture .and that will stay up on the site until the new person wins the award.

I'll have to see you somewhere along the line, Col! Also, I want to find someone who taped the past two matches! Paying $30-40 for a match is a bit steep - I can afford it, but not justify it!
