Just another update . Saw the oncologist doctor this afternoon chemotherapy starts
July 20 and I think he said for 6 months . The doctor thinks the surgeons got it all but it was starting to spread out . So chemotherapy every 3 weeks with chemotherapy pills for home .

Just had my second chemotherapy . For some reason they thought I was shorter 159 cm Instead of 179 cms . So they upped the dosage . I certainly feel I’m back on chemo . Home wrapped up heater on .

And calls from Centrelink today Sunday confirmed my certificate was accepted . And they are putting in a written complaint about the worker I saw face to face . I think they listened to my federal member of parliament. Do still need to report every 2 weeks not a problem . And they suggested I see a Centrelink social worker not sure why or what they’ll do but I said yes .

I did say what the face to face worker said to me let’s just say not very nice leave it at that

Ok had my appointment with the colorectal surgeon toddy he was great . Explained everything to me . So go back late February and set the date in March for the reversal and then no more stoma bag . Of course that all depends on the chemotherapy going well . And I knew I was to get checked for the next 5 years . Surgeon today explained once the reversal is done I’ll be having blood tests every 3 to 6 months ( but like my Hb1ac tests ) and a Ct scan every 12 months

He did say I should be able to go to footy games next year

Ok chemotherapy didn’t go according to plan yesterday . I have neuropathy from chemotherapy IV so oncologist stopped yesterday’s chemotherapy. In 3 weeks I’ll have the last chemotherapy IV . Still on chemo tablets they don’t affect me as much
. Also been having headaches and near falls no one’s sure if it’s the chemotherapy affecting my TBI from 2015 cancer nurse told me anymore near falls straight to emergency so hopefully no more near falls !

Ok I have hopefully finished chemotherapy and cancer medication
Having a CT scan with dye Monday afternoon at the Royal Adelaide Hospital
Four hours of fasting before test
Was seeing oncologist Wednesday but he’s not in until the 18th
Just thought I’d let everyone know I’ll find out if all the cancer has gone and not spread further .
My last chemotherapy bruise is almost gone been about a month
Finger eyes toes all crossed

Ok got my results today of last weeks scan all cancer gone . Now hopefully neuropathy will go either take 12 months or I’ll have it forever
But I’m happy 😃 cancer is gone
Lung specialist tomorrow hopefully get the all clear from her
Heart later in the month and next month that’s not so good old issue back and worse and high BP

And due to no cancer my surgery should go ahead in March see colorectal surgeon late next month

I’m happy and greatest birthday present I can have on my 60th
